Colorful Sarabande Chicago IL Wedding
When you combine a couple as lovely and kind as Allie & Luke with a venue that serves as a classic canvas for personal touches, you know it’s going to be something so special! Allie & Luke’s Chicago IL wedding at Sarabande was just as joyful for guests and vendors as it was for the two of them. From fun pops of color to sentimental touches like vintage cars, they made it all their own.
Sarabande: A Chicago Wedding Venue
With a long list of included amenities, this Chicago wedding venue is as equipped as it is inviting. Up to 250 guests can be seated comfortably during the event, and they offer a large patio for cocktail hour in addition to the ceremony space. The floor-to-ceiling curtains were one of our favorite parts for photos, but the building itself is a stunning backdrop. In addition, couples can also take the trip to the River Walk or North Avenue, which is just a 15-minute drive away. Worried about parking? Don’t be! The Sarabande shares a large parking lot that opens up for nights & weekends with 400 spaces. This venue offers guests freedom to choose their own vendors and can even recommend some of their favorites if you’re looking for professional input. The Sarabande is an absolutely gorgeous Chicago venue with the dreamiest backdrop for any celebration. It was the perfect space to bring Allie & Luke’s wedding dreams to life.
Chicago IL Wedding Details
Allie and Luke’s wedding was an NKP team collaboration that also included Haley and Kristina. We worked together to capture every thoughtful detail and emotional moment this amazing couple experienced on their day. From Allie’s elegant dress to their three tiered cake adorned with fresh fruit and florals, everything was beautifully done. While their wedding was classic, they didn’t skimp on personality or fun. There were so many gorgeous pops of color that felt so summery and lively. One of our favorite parts of the day was photographing portraits of Allie and Luke featuring a vintage, yellow Corvette Stingray that was very special to them. We had so much fun and got to get creative with our approach that felt vintage in a way that matched the car. They’re some of our favorite shots from the day!
Sarabande Wedding Reception
Following an emotional ceremony including a unity candle, the celebration continued at the reception. Allie & Luke mingled with guests as they shared a meal and drinks, like The Paloma, their signature cocktail. There was an unmistakable ambiance to the space, both from the beaming couple and the table decor. A combination of tapered and floating candles cast a warm glow on the tables along with fresh florals. Live music filled the air as the happy couple shared dances with each other and guests in the spacious reception area. It was truly the most divine day at Sarabande for Allie and Luke’s first day of forever!
