This unique Chicago wedding venue is equipped to host up to 200 guests for your winery wedding. One stop shop for all things wedding events including wedding showers, receptions, rehearsal dinners, send offs, and engagement parties. Not only is this space moody & romantic aesthetically, the wedding packages they offer make it irresistible for Chicago couples. Weddings at the winery get exclusive use of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Their event manager is available to help keep everything running smoothly, and couples get a private wine and food tasting with the venue’s chef, Chef Andrew Graves.
This Chicago wedding venue is such a dreamy, moody space that feels intimate while also having plenty of room for guests. And you have to see how candle lights look in this space in person. It was the perfect warm & cozy place for Zac and Dominique’s ceremony.
Timeless Wedding in Chicago
Dominique and Zac prioritized the things that were most important to them. From the photos they most wanted to see to the details they intertwined throughout their day, they made it all their own. They held their loved ones especially close, and it was touching to photograph. Dominique's bouquet included charms as a tribute to lost loved ones, and she surprised Zac the day of with a photo pin of his grandpa that he wore on his jacket. I would describe the overall vibe of this wedding as classic & timeless, but their non-traditional reception choice was so unexpected & fun! The champagne tower was iconic & one of my favorite parts of the day. It was finally time to let loose and celebrate for these two newlyweds, and you could see how joy-filled they were. In place of a wedding cake, they opted for pints of Ben & Jerry’s instead. It made for amazing memories as well as a great photo. And speaking of photos…
Chicago IL Wedding Photos
The photos I took of Dominique and Zac are some of my favorites (especially the one of the two of them through the window!) After an emotional first look and private vows between these two, we took advantage of the nearby scenery for bridal portraits. Lurie Garden is about a 10 minute drive from the venue, so we stopped for portraits before the ceremony. The street that Chicago Winery is on is beautiful for portraits and we took advantage of their gorgeous windows. There is a wine barrel room which is a sweet spot for some night time flash photos that is unique to the venue. This location is truly unbeatable for variety & beautiful backdrops for wedding photos!
